Jessica Gilliam-Valls — Music: Lower School Strings

Ms. Valls joined the faculty in 2009. She received her Bachelor of Music in Double Bass performance from Oberlin College, her Master of Music from the Manhattan School of Music, and is currently completing her PhD in Musical Arts at UT Austin. Ms. Valls is adjunct music faculty at Huston-Tillotson University, the Austin Chamber Music Center, the Oklahoma Summer Arts Institute, the Longhorn Orchestra Camp, and has been an interim director of the UT String Project. She is a frequent guest artist and has performed at the Victoria Bach festival and the Hot Springs Music Festival, among others.
