GSA Receives Moody Grant

The Girls' School is the recipient of a Moody Foundation grant for math, science and technology. The Moody Foundation grant proposal, written by former GSA parent Susan Roberts, requested funds to ramp up our math, science, and technology program. The foundation offered us $5,000 if we could raise at least $22,000 toward our goal of $28,000, which we did in spades at our annual Gala in April. Way to go GSA!! This money was used to purchase laptop computers and a laptop cart for the upper school, to switch to a new math program in the lower school, and to add some much-needed equipment to the science lab.
