Lightning Strikes Again!

Congratulations to the 5th & 6th grade volleyball team...they are 4-1! The girls have been doing a great job and are really coming together as a team. The GSA Lightening enjoyed a fun night out at a recent UT Volleyball game, where they were special guests! The team got to join the UT players on the court during warm-up, and were a part of the spirit line as the team came out of the tunnel to start the game. Our next game is next Thursday night...join the parents and fans that we like to call The Thunder! The "Lightning" does the damage on the court and the "Thunder" makes the noise on the sidelines—it's a great combo!

The 7th grade volleyball team, which is just getting started with their season, is trying something new this year. We are now part of a small private school league that plays games at the Odyssey School on Tuesdays. We had our first game October 7th and did a fantastic job—we won! The members of the team are Rowan, Izzy, Jemma, Brianna, Skylar, Stevie, Allyson, Gabriella, & Alex.
