Bump, Set, Spike!

Congratulations to the 5th & 6th grade volleyball team for their impressive finish in the WAYA league...2nd place! The girls played an incredible tournament with the MOST exciting game in the semi-final round. They had to come back from being down 14-13 and won with a 15-17 victory. They also played a great game in the finals to win the 2nd place trophy that you can see in the PE case displayed outside the Kindergarten room. Coach Sparks and Coach Shea would like to thank the team for all of their hard work. The coaches were amazed by their improvement during the season.

The 7th grade team is close to wrapping up their season in the Austin Private School Association league. They have been playing their games at the Odyssey School on Tuesday nights and have been dominating the league with their outstanding play. The team's serving ability has put them on top! We look forward to our last game on Tuesday and expect one final win. Congratulations to the 7th grade girls who have given up their Tuesday nights for games and Wednesday afternoons for practice. It has shown :)

Volleyball season was amazing. I was on the team as well as a couple other spectacular, talented girls. Together, we brought home second place. Our coaches, Coach Shea and the one and only Jenny Sparks, worked diligently to improve our skills. I am very thankful to my best friends and family for supporting us all the way till the end!
