Admissions
By Frances Ramberg

The Admissions Office (that space in front of Ms. Sylvia's desk which is also the reception area and the Nurse's Office) has been extremely busy lately! We've had parent interviews, tours, student assessments, and shadow days. When prospective families are on campus I always appreciate the friendliness of our students, teachers, and parents. Visiting families often comment on how warm and welcoming our campus feels. And as many of you can attest to as well, once families visit our campus they're smitten with The Girls' School.
Welcoming families on campus for tours and interviews is the second part of the admissions process. Getting them on campus so they can enjoy the welcoming atmosphere is the first part. Recently we've been thinking and talking a lot in the Admissions Office about how we can make more families aware of The Girls' School and encourage them to come visit us. One thing we're sure of is that our current families are our ambassadors: when you talk to someone in the line at the grocery store while you're wearing a Spirit Wear t-shirt, when you mention GSA to a friend with a daughter. You are our voice in the community. We value your efforts on behalf of GSA, and hope you will continue to share your enthusiasm for our school far and wide.
