Starry, Starry Night

A heartfelt thank you is extended to everyone who participated in this year's annual gala, Starry, Starry Night. People attended the event, brought friends and neighbors, bid on items in the silent and live auctions, sponsored tickets for students and teachers, procured and made donations, and contributed an enormous amount of time and energy to ensure success. With almost $60,000 raised (net!) in support of GSA, and half of that amount specifically targeted to our upcoming facilities improvements, the gala committee and GSA staff could not be more thrilled.

Special thanks to the very active members of the Gala Committee, who accomplished everything asked of them, and then some: Cindy Bogard, Ali Garnel, Jennifer Hotz, Suzanne Luftig, Elizabeth Nieto, Angela Nix, and Suzanne Quinn.

Do you have comments about the gala—whether or not you attended? Planning for next year's fundraiser begins soon and we want to make sure we host the right event for our unique community. We will be soliciting event feedback in the form of an online survey in the very near future, and you are also encouraged to talk with Lisa Schmitt or Jenny Smrekar in the meantime (well, anytime!).
