Public Speaking

On Friday, March 27, The GSA Speech Team competed in our district meet. 10 students participated in 3 events, Impromptu Speaking, Modern Oratory, and Prose Interpretation. All students received recognition for their work, and many placed at the district level. Izzy (7th grade) took 4th place in Impromptu Speaking, Luiza (5th grade) got 5th place in 5th Grade Prose Interpretation, Emmalee (6th grade) placed 4th in 6th Grade Prose Interpretation, Abigail (7th grade) placed 3rd in 7th Grade Prose Interpretation, and Elizabeth (8th grade) took 5th place in 8th Grade Prose Interpretation. All students worked hard to prepare for this event, and gained valuable experience in competition, as well as in public speaking.
