Note from the Board

As we close out another great year at The Girls' School, the Board of Trustees is taking some steps to be ready for the coming years. We have added two new members who will contribute a lot to our group and to the school.
Jason Boulette is a partner of Boulette & Golden, an Austin law firm specializing in employment law. He is a UT law school grad and his wife Megan is a post-doc researcher in molecular genetics and microbiology at UT. They are very active in the local arts community with service to Ballet Austin, Austin Lyric Opera, The Long Center, and the Austin Theater Alliance.
Among many other things, Suzanne Quinn is 1st grader Lilly's mom. She has been instrumental in the success of GSA's development efforts over the past year and has been an enthusiastic and effective supporter of the school. Suzanne's career has focused on start-up business ventures and non-profit management. She also serves on the board of the Austin Music Foundation.
Unfortunately, as we gain two, we are losing one. Gary Poole will be leaving the board to join the GSA faculty. He has served as the board secretary and has contributed to the school in more ways than this space will allow me to list. We will miss Gary's dedication, wisdom, and wit on the board. You middle school students are getting a great teacher
