The GSA All Star/All School Super Heroes have arrived to save the world! Please enjoy our incredibly clever and timely super hero mixed media works, now exhibited in the Courtyard Gallery. We spent several weeks learning how to draw the human body in proportion, sketching and honing our ideas for our creations to comic book cover perfection---nowhere has there ever been so many powerful do-gooders!
Our Kindergarten through Fourth Grade have also been working on Calligraphy – beautiful writing – of their name, including illumination of the first letter. Clay is their next adventure.

The Middle School is now exhibiting their "Eco ART" at the Scanlon Gallery at St. Stephen’s School, through October 11. Please join us for their special reception on Saturday, Oct 3, 1-3 pm.
Fourth through Eighth grades are also learning the "Gray Scale", an invaluable tool for realistic shadowing. This value system will be realized in their drawings and watercolors of seashells. Following these technique exercises, grades 6 through 8 will be working on their independent studies, for portfolio and competition.
Welcome to the new school year in ART!
