Peacocks in the Park

By Dani, 5th Grade student
In mid-October (Sunday the 18th) The Girls' School celebrated with their Fall Celebration for the second year. It was a perfect fall day. We played with hula hoops and jump ropes and ate corn dogs and hamburgers.

There was an auction for a GSA Firebird carved pumpkin, made by our own Ms. Hoover. The pumpkin was taken home by the Boeckman family. The open mic had many volunteers doing performances like "Hagalina Magalina" (thank you Elaina and Cynthia Hilliard!) and quite a few ABCs from the kinders!
It's not even 2nd trimester and we've already reached our half way goal for the Annual Fund. This is going to be a fabulous year!
