Exotic Pets Visit Fourth Grade

The fourth grade class has been learning about the rainforest and Diane (Rachel's mom) organized for a representative from Herpetron Exotic Pets to bring some rainforest animals to the classroom on Thursday, October 29. Ms. Lee had never seen anything quite like girls climbing over each other to hold millipedes before! The girls could touch a bird, hissing cockroaches, a tarantula and various species of snakes. Susannah made the male cockroach hiss by touching its head. When it hissed everyone jumped! The lizard scampered up and down everyone's arm multiple times.
