Literary Character Day
By Sierra, 5th Grade student

On Friday, October 30 everyone dressed up as a character from one of their favorite books. We had many Coralines, Medusas, and Bellas (from the Twilight saga). We also had characters with kooky wigs and costumes such as Little Miss Muffet and the fly, from There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly.
After the parade, where everyone said who they were dressed up as, everybody got together with their sister groups and we did activities such as decorate pumpkin shaped cookies with orange frosting, and made necklaces, anklets, and key chains with beads and neon-colored string.
It was one crazy day filled with amazing sights and I'm sure no one will forget it!
