Challenge Success

We had a great turn-out for this year's LIVESTRONG Challenge. It was a beautiful crisp morning, perfect for a stroll with friends and family. Team The Girls' School of Austin held strong with twenty walkers and runners. First graders Tess and Estelle, second grader Catie along with fifth grader Madeline challenged themselves by running the entire three miles. What a super feat!

Waiting for our team were approximately twenty GSA supporters shaking pom-poms and shouting words of encouragement as the racers came across the finish line. It truly was a wonderful gathering of our GSA family towards an important cause that impacts our community. Thanks to all our parents, students, faculty, and extended GSA family who participated!
