Note from the Board

With the completion of our Windsor House construction project, we can now direct our efforts toward what The Girls' School will look like over the next few years. Thanks to the 38 of you who attended one of our strategic planning sessions to express your ideas and opinions on the future direction of GSA. As always, participation in gatherings of this type is crucial to the future health of the school. As Chair of the Board, I am grateful for all of your comments, concerns, and eye-opening observations about our school. The trustees took next step for moving the strategic plan forward at our retreat on October 24th, where we reviewed all of the data collected from all parent and faculty strategic planning input sessions. The Board will now condense that input to five or six major goals. We will fine-tune our work at our November Board meeting, and then the faculty and staff will begin to develop an action plan for each goal. The final plan will be released later this fall.
This is a very exciting and challenging time in the life of The Girls' School. As always, I am delighted to be a part of this journey, and I hope you will remain committed to our work as well.
With Best Regards,
Carolyn Miller
Chair, Board of Trustees
