Piano Portrait Concert

This Winter the GSA piano students have been working on a special project, creating original pieces that express something about themselves. These pieces utilize traditional notation as well as graphic notation (non-traditional symbols/imagery) and performance instructions that allow for in-performance improvisation and experimental sounds/techniques. Each girl has written (quotations from pre-existing material have been properly credited) a song and made her own unique score, which will be on display during her performance. We are all very excited about this concert and wish to invite you all to attend.

Arrival time for performers: 6:00 p.m.
Dress code for the performing girls will be the usual concert attire: their dress (Monday) GSA uniform or any solid white top with solid black/navy skirt/pants and non-trainer type dark shoes.
