Art Beat

The year is off to a great art start with our amazing and revealing Super Hero (and villain) identities now showing in the Courtyard Gallery. These mixed media (pencil, watercolor, acrylic, markers and, of course, glitter) works are the results of the study of drawing the human body in proportion and our own imaginations!

Next up is our clay work - some classes have already finished their flying creatures!

We are also exploring Abstract Art, color components and are texturing canvases with gesso for extra impact and expression.

Designing our dream house is on the agenda, as we study blueprints and architects.

The Middle School is interspersing their assignments with Independent Study projects for portfolios and competition. Our GSA girls are wonderfully ambitious and talented - and their enthusiasm is contagious!
