Austin-area screenwriter Tim McCanlies, who wrote and directed the highly acclaimed 2003 film Second hand Lions, has just begun production of The Two Bobs, which shoots in Austin through the end of May. With P. J. Raval behind the camera, The Two Bobs follows two guys who are legends in the gaming business, whose new, much-anticipated game is stolen just as it is completed.
On Sunday, May 18th, The Two Bobs will be filming a "Porkapalooza" festival. What sets this winning prize apart from an ordinary extra is:
- The winner will be placed in a scene that is likely to be seen in the final film
- The winner will have the opportunity to meet the principal talents and have a picture taken
- This special guest spot might also receive a film credit, although this is not guaranteed.
Take advantage of this wonderful Austin opportunity and possibly watch yourself/your child on the big screen when the movie is released next year.

The winner and three guests will enjoy car service courtesy of Lone Star Limousines from home to the Driskill. From there, walk to the Paramount to see Tuna Does Vegas and then use your backstage passes to meet the artists. One couple will stay at the Driskill while the other is returned to their home via the car service. Upon check out from the Driskill, the car will return for the other couple.

Guided Duck Hunt at a Private Club donated by Jeff Hotz

You and a guest will join your host for an overnight stay and early morning duck or goose hunt at the members-only Bucksnag Hunting Club in Garwood, Texas. Guests will experience a unique clubhouse outfitted with many of the original hotel furnishings, hearty country style meals, and some of the best duck and goose hunting in the United States. A typical schedule involves leaving Austin mid-afternoon the day prior to the hunt, arriving at Bucksnag in time for cocktails and appetizers, followed by a hearty dinner and conversation. Hunters rise early for a guided morning hunt until approximately 10:00 a.m. Afterward a late brunch is served, allowing you to leave by noon and arrive back in Austin by 2:00 pm.
