This song has a walking bass line (steadily moving up and down) and a swing rhythm (the "chocolate brownies"). Watch for the low second fingers (F natural and C natural)!

This sixteenth century piece has an unmistakable Renaissance flavor. All four parts are equally important. Make sure to play with a smooth tone.

Miserlou (trad. Greece)

Miserlou is originally a traditional Greek melody that became popular throughout the Middle East. In the US, it was made famous by Dick Dale's 1962 "surf" version for electric guitar. Make sure to observe the sharps and flats, as they give the melody its unique flavor.
