Credit Card Gifts
Make a contribution to the Firebird Fund using your Amex, Visa, or MasterCard.
Securities
Giving a gift of appreciated stock allows you to make a larger contribution than you might otherwise have been able. By giving the stock directly to GSA you avoid paying capital gains taxes on the increase in value, and you receive a tax dedication for the full fair market value.
Donors are asked to contact their brokers and request that the stock be electronically transferred to the school's account at Smith Barney. Please call (512) 478-7827 or email for the proper instructions.
Matching Gifts
Many corporations match employee contributions to charitable organizations. To find out if your employer is one of them, contact your Human Resources department for the proper forms. This is an easy way to double, and even triple, your contribution to GSA and receive credit for the entire amount.
Business Partners
You can also support GSA when you patronize these local businesses.
Link your Randalls Remarkable Card to GSA-#10911. It's easy—just sign up at your neighborhood Randalls courtesy booth. A percentage of all your shopping will support GSA.
Tell your neighborhood Westbank Dry Cleaner that you want to link your account to GSA. The school will receive a portion of what you spend.
Collect box tops from participating brands and earn cash for GSA. You can also earn box tops when you shop online! (Learn more about the Box Tops for Education program) Box tops can be dropped off anytime in the green collection box in the GSA office.
